An Edaphosaurus

Edaphosaurus by Robert Bakker

A medium sized, herbivorous Pelycosaur from the early Permian

Edaphosaurus varied in size according to species, the largest at 3.5 metres. It was a herbivore, and had a battery of crushing teeth. It had a large, non-symetrical sail for display or temperature regulation, as it was likely cold-blooded
